DISCHEM - Undermining Medical Aids

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Quick question: Why are you exploiting your customers who are purchasing medication on a medical aid? Sunday 08 Oct I purchased 3 items from your Norwood store. All 3 were discounted, 1 @ 20% and the other 2 @25%. The discount was not app**** when purchasing on Medical aid. When questioned, your store manager blamed the medical aid and claimed that the medical aids prescribe the product price for invoice. This is a lie! The medical aid prescribes maximum rates per product but would gladly pay less and pass the discounted benefit to their customers. Don't you think you have had enough bad press lately?
