Dischem staff really cares
I recently past underwent a liver transplant at UCT private hospital and spent several months in recovery. Every single staff member went out of their way to ensure that they did their bit to ensure my wellbeing. Dr. Gogela and her team was beyond amaizing as I spend several weeks on life support. I was nearly lost on quite a few occassions, but I guess GOD was not ready for me to disrupt things in my next life.
On leaving the hospital, to recover further at home, I received an arm's length list of meds to be collected at Dischem. Leading up to my operation I was on some serious meds which I received at Dischem in Cavendisch. Na****a the pharmacist assistant was awesome as she walked by journey to better health with me. She had a vested interest in my wellbeing. All my meds was always ready on my arrival and she constantly sorted out challenges with my medical aide.
Regretably, Na****a left to launch a new Dischem in KC, it was then that I landed up with a new pharmacist who just like Na****a went beyond the call of duty to sort out my meds. Lisa ensured that if no meds was found in Cape Town, she would get it from other parts of the country. Due to my condition, I could not always travel, it was here that Lisa, like Na****a ensured that the Dischem driver delivered the meds to my door. Dischem, your staff are exceptional people, kudos to your spirit of service excellence and care. From the bottom of my heart, and new liver, thank you. Achmat Gafieldien
