Dischem Somerset mall pathetic customer service

Dischem Somerset Mall needs to close their doors. Its pathetic to see the way they treat their clients. They know nothing about customer service. My girlfriend went to return the Tresemme Volume Styler because it was not fulfilling its function by creating volume to her hair. The manager on duty Estelle did not want to take the styler back because it was returned after 10 days. Then she said they can’t take it back because it was used and can’t be restocked, but said if there’s an electronic problem she can send it away for repairs. The more my girlfriend told her she wants to return it because it’s not doing what it’s supposed to, the more Estelle says its used stock and can’t be returned. Obviously it would be used. How else will she know if it works? Then Estelle refers us to Dischem at West Coast Mall, because it’s closer to where we live. The manager there couldn’t assist her, because they don’t stock it and therefore can’t help her with the return and then refers her back to Dischem at Somerset West Mall. The hair styler has a 2 year warranty & we attempted to return it for the first after 12 days because we are not from Cape Town. This is causing us to drive down again, from the West Coast all the way back to Somerset West for a hairstyler. We wasted our time running from one Dischem to the another for nothing. The styler is not even a month old and was just used once. I really feel it’s unfair to expect a loyal customer to keep something that does not work. Disappointment is an understatement and we would never recommend anyone to buy anything from the Dischem store in Somerset mall in future.
