Dischem’ s obsolete tillpoints

I had the disturbing experience at Dis- Chem Jean Crossing today 13 April 19. After entering my benefits card number which I showed to the teller from my Stocard application on my cellphone, the teller was unable to show me on the till the amount of points I have earned from a R703, transaction. After explaining to the manager Evans that I am unable to see my balance of existing points nor points earned from this transaction, all he could say is that this is how the system works, and that he would send an email to head office. After processing the transaction- the printed till slip shows no points earned. In this day and age, we cannot have a listed company whose tills do not show customers basic Key information that is required immediately. Why have the cardless facility in place if it doesn’t work?
