Dischem Pharmacy - Canal Walk

<p>I would like to once again lodge my grievances of the putrid service that we have been receiving from your Canal Walk Dispensary.</p> <p> </p> <p>My mother is currently at the Oasis Care Centre in Century City. The center orders medication for my mother and if approved by the Medical Aid , its then delivered to the Centre.</p> <p>I previously opened an account your Century City branch , and made the required deposit to cover any shortfalls. I advised Brandon of my cell phone number as well as my email address. I specifically informed him and his manager , that if there is ever a payment / shortfall, that they just need to email me the invoice and I will pay immediately. This worked well for a week or two , then all of a sudden , medicine was stopped with Zero communication , email or telephone call to myself. When I call the dispensary , they are unable to provide me / or advise if there is still sufficient “deposit funds ” held or what members contributions are due / outstanding or what was invoiced against the deposit made. It’s an absolute nightmare dealing with Brandon and his team / and Manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>Due to the ongoing putrid service delivery , I’ve now had to make alternate arrangements for supply of my mom’s medication by utilizing the services of Blister Packaging (refer attached emails) , who were recommended by Oasis , re other residents at oasis experiencing the same bad service delivery.</p> <p> </p> <p>It’s an absolute disgrace that Dischem cannot get their invoicing / accounts in order. One would expect either a credit limit , or if that cannot be arranged/approved as per (Blister Packaging) , then when a ‘deposit’ is made , provide the patient / client with a running statement with deposit available and list of transactions’, so that when medication needs to be dispensed at the eleventh hour , medication is not held back due to lack of funds.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will be logging this email on Hello Peter as well ,just so that other clients / patients experiencing the same non-service delivery with your company , at least will know there are alternatives to Dischem providing them with medication , and at the very least , will know that there prescriptions will be delivered.</p> <p> </p>
