Dischem: Pharmacists Who Care... Not (Part ll)

A week ago I posted about Dischem’s refusal to honour a credit they had given me for an overcharge. Dischem continue to insist their camera showed me pocketing a "voucher", but were unable to explain how this camera was able to differentiate between the SLIP they gave me and a VOUCHER. No matter HOW they argue, all they gave me was a SLIP, not a VOUCHER.

I did receive a call from Dischem in response to my Hello Peter post. They continued to bang the "YOU POCKETED YOUR VOUCHER" drum. When I asked how their camera was able to prove that the slip I received was a VOUCHER, not a SLIP (which is ALL THEY GAVE ME - a SLIP[, not a VOUCHER) there was a moment’s hesitation and then I received a promise the district manager would call me.

Surprise surprise, to this day, no district manager’s call.

And so the R100-odd overcharge Dischem refused to reimburse becomes a very expensive “saving”.
