Dischem medical insurance ripping me off/*********** dishonest company

I decided to sign up with the Dischem medical insurance. My agreed upon debit date is the last day of each month. There was a discrepancy with the banking details and I missed the 1st premium set to go off the last day of July. I managed to clear that up and change the banking details. My 1st premium went off the 30th of August 2023.

I contacted Dischem to enquire if it were possible to move my start date to 1 month later. This is where it gets messy. It took more then a week with lots of back and forth emails which resulted in none of my questions answered and my policy canceled. I was suddenyl notified via sms that my policy was canceled. I called to ask what was happening. I was told I missed 2 premiums therefore my policy was canceled. I was told I cannot speak to the billing department, they only deal with queries via email (which is absurd). I asked to reinstate my policy as it was not supposed to have been canceled because I've made payment. I ****d about 20 times via email and the phone if it were possible to move my start date to 1 month later than initially planned. I was then told that I never paid for August not September. I sent proof of payment that I have paid for August and how am I supposed to pay for September if we are still in September.

While my policy has supposedly been reinstated, I am treated as a brand new customer. With my policy now starting in October. When I questioned this amd asked what happened to my payment of 30 August 2023 (again attaching the proof of payment) I was told because I reversed the payment. I cannot begin to describe how ridiculous this is!!! I most certainly have not reversed he payment. I am at a loss. I don't know what else to do. I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of *********** people that cannot answer the simplest of questions, now I just feel Dischem is being dishonest with me. My payment went off, it was not reversed. It's mind boggling.

Please can someone senior from Dischem look into this matter.
