Dischem making and selling hazardous products

I bought a ceramic blowdry brush a month ago. Used it twice and the first time I burned the back of my hand. The second time I burned my neck to the point where I have a scar in the shape of a half moon. It was incredibly hot and obviously unsafe to use. I emailed dischem and they asked me to rerun the brush for a refund which I was quite ok with. But the fact that they didn't even ask to see the burn mark and they were just so dismissive made me vow that I won't be supporting dischem again. They gave me a voucher that I decided to use immediately because I just didn't wanna come back there again. Got to the till and they were offline so I couldn't use the voucher. Had to argue with the supervisor to just give me cash to offset the good that I was buying which she eventually did. Honestly the experience was so bad for me. I don't see how you can injure yourself with their product and they are so uncaring. I mean it wasn't just your average burn. If they had a look they would see. A brush is not supposed to get that hot nor is it supposed to have metal in places where it could touch your skin.
