Dischem Jabulani bad customer service

Please assist me, last week Sunday I bought 2 packets of huggies gold nappies at Jabulani mall Dischem when I got home I wasn't happy with the texture of the nappies and decided to return the unopened packet, when my husband got to the store with the slip he was told they will not accept the nappies as they are damaged, the pack is still exactly the way I got it because it has been in my car, how can I damage unopened nappies, I called trying to explain to the store manager he refused to listen telling me that she will not take them back, if they feel they are damaged they can still take them and send th back to huggies not to tell me that they cannot assist me, I'm so angry and I need intervention on the matter
