Dischem is too cheap to provide a decent customer experience

Nothing irritates me more than calling a company repeatedly over a period of years and while holding hearing an inane recording saying "Please be patient as we are experiencing high call volumes". Clearly this is a blatant lie because how can a company experience high call volumes for over two years without resolving the issue ? There are three reasons why one hears this same message every time one calls Dischem for years on end: a) Dischem is too lazy to switch that message on and off so they leave it on no matter what the call volumes are b) Dischem is too cheapskate to employ the correct number of staff to manage the call volumes they experience or c) Dischem is so *********** it does not even know the message is switched on. I'm fairly confident it's because Dischem is a company run by cheapskates who only care about lining their own pockets and who are too schnoep to actually spend money to employ the correct number of agents to handle their call volumes. How typical of Dischem to be so ****** mean that they skimp in the customer service area, it indicates they are as mean as shark****, they do not value customer service at all, they are stupid and they are shortsighted. Over and above this absolutely awful telephonic experience Dischem's loyalty scheme has to be the meanest loyalty scheme in SA since one can spend a fortune for years without generating an even vaguely decent number of reward points, yet another example of how mean Dischem is. Given how cheap Dischem is with their loyalty scheme, I don't know why they bother. The pathetic telephonic experience coupled with such a useless loyalty scheme makes everything I purchase at Dischem a grudge purchase for me.
