Dischem intimidates by referring their mistakes they admitted to to an expensive high profile lawyer to avoid compensating me

An update on the disgusting treatment Dischem has provided: 1. For 6 months they dispensed the wrong medication. After months of letters up and down I finally got a lukewarm apology and the admitted liability, but did not so much as a R10.00 Gift Voucher to make up for their error; 2. They make another mistake on the dosage of a different medication. They admit their mistake and apologise. I demand some form of compensation given that for 7 months of this year I have been dispensed the incorrect medication as per my scripts. They refer the matter to Sanlam who demands all my medical records going back indefinitely. What do my medical records have to do with their dispensing errors that they admit to in writing? I write to Sanlam and tell them absolutely not, my medical records have nothing to do with Dischem failing to dispense medication as prescribed TWICE adding up to 7 months of this year, which they admit in writing. Sanlam has now referred the matter to an extremely expensive and prestigious law firm. They would rather pay through the snout for legal fees than compensate me which will come to a fraction of the legal bills if this goes to court. Of course, they well know the expenses and stress of a court case on me and yet they are willing to shell out money to take a matter to court when they have admitted liability in writing for 2 mistakes, one which was made over 6 months.

This is pure ************ designed to stress me out until I give up or run out of money. It beggars belief that after admitting their mistakes they refuse to consider sitting down with me and coming to a reasonable settlement for a very serious mistake on their part.

They would rather intimidate me by handing the matter to a very expensive law firm. They would rather pay the law firm to intimidate me than compensate me for their mistakes. What type of a company is this?

I am beyond disgusted that no only do they make serious dispensing errors they would rather shell over money to an attorney than use some of that same money to compensate a loyal customer who has been with them since they opened their first store

Sanlam has now referred the matter to attorneys Savage Jooste and Adams who threatened me for publishing a review on Hello Peter. They claim that their client, Dischem, has 'every right to dispute liability' when I have 2 letters, in writing from Dischem admitting liability for dispensing incorrect medication for months, on 2 different medications.
Can someone explain how they can state that their client has a 'right to dispute liability' when they have already admitted liability and apologised for their errors in two letters? And write a letter loaded with threats because I made a public complaint about this?
See my previous comments. Not once did they offer me so much as a R10.00 Gift Certificate. All they did was demand my medical records, and deny that their client is liable for dispensing the wrong medication (even though they admitted liability, in one letter they go into detail about how they had a thorough investigation and they definitely made an error on the script).
What law is Savage, Joost and Adams operating on that they state they dispute liability for 2 dispensing errors, one of which continued for months, when their client admitted to both in writing?
If someone can point out to me that this is valid in law, go ahead and I'll apologise. Until then, I'm disgusted that they would threaten me and blatantly deny any liability in the face of not one but two letters from their client to me admitting that they made dispensing errors.
Dispensing errors can cost lives. If they made errors for 7 months of this year with my scripts can you imagine if I were diabetic or an infant? Yet they are completely cavalier about it, it's absolutely nothing and if I dare say anything publicly they will subject me to litigation.
Where is the law that states that you are not allowed to complain in a public forum for a company providing shoddy service that involves dispensing incorrect medication?
Have letters, can publish.

I have to fully retract my issues with Savage, Jooste and Adams. There was some degree of misunderstanding due to all the crossed channels. Their attorney has represented his client well as well as been extremely courteous, professional and helpful in speaking to me and explaining my options. I will write a separate review giving the firm an outstanding rating.
