Dischem health terrible experience

Hi everyone I had a very unforeseen incident with my son last week of October 2025. Whereby he got hurt at school. I called the ambulance service Netcare and received amazing 2 ambulance paramedics awesome and assisted with approval to get to emergency in Kuilsrive staff and doctors were perfect. I was livid as my son was in pain. School gave basic details of events leading up to injury. I had to uber as my car was in for service. When I arrive paramedics took control eased my worries and so we went to hospital. In the process I have resigned from the medical assurance due to charges on all transaction every time I use it on the day of incident I called and I wish to unresign and got no response till 6 days later and then they ask for double instalment which fails my mind as I am still active member based on my email to cancel the insurance. Then the medical claim arrive I have to pay 60% of claim Specialist was not authorized but the hospital assisted me with authorization. Now I am liable for money to specialist yet I was still covered at the time of incident. I would urge people to ensure they check they quick to rope uou in but don't do justice when you need them. And worse they email me Ms R Japhtas information stating I owe no premium. What kind of a business does this to people now I must run around and find a way to pay this claim. Shocking indeed. No management accountability and call centre don't care.
