Dischem health insurance pls get your house in order.

I am a dischem health insurance policy holder. I needed to visit a specialist physician. I called dischem health for an authorization number. The agent told me that I don't need prior authorization number. The specialist office needs to call for an authorization number. Get to the specialist and dischem wouldn't give authorization. Apparently I was to get authorization prior to my visit. This put me in a very embarrassing situation. Pls dischem health give your staff better training. I paid cash for the consult. Then trying to claim the refund was an absolute nightmare. Every time I called them I was told it will be paid soon. One and half month later I am still waiting payment. They advertise refunds will be processed in14 days
