DisChem Health Insurance - CHEAP & NASTY

Cheap and nasty. Difficult to use. Small print on policies trips one up. I had a medical emergency on a Sunday. Pre-authorisation was required. I called all the given numbers - no answer. Result - they won't pay for the visit!! Dispute over condition covered and doctor codes could not be overcome. I cancelled the policy! It's not worth the time and effort fighting a losing battle. They will squirm out of paying every bill you submit. Time and again there was a rediculous reason not to pay. Be kind to yourself and don't even go there. Kaelo Health, Primecure, Dischem Health - whatever they call themselves is a *******. They do not provide a good service at all. I should have smelt a rat when both my GP and dentist removed themselves as service providers on the Primecure network. They don't pay!
