Dischem Fleurdal Bloemfontein

My daughter went to fetch her chronic medication from Dischem Fleurdal Bloemfontein 5 days before the next due date, which is legal in South Africa to my knowledge?, since all other pharmacies issue chronic medication 5-7 days before the next due date for the same reasons I assume - that people want to make sure they have stock to carry on for the next week, since life can be unpredictable - public holidays, lack of transport, especially older people who are dependable on others for transport, family members also working week days, etc. The reason being that she doesn't always have transport and she wanted to make sure she doesn't run out of medication since she suffers from severe fibromialgia, an auto immune disease which is extremely painful and cannot skip a day's medication. She explained it to the pharmacist, but the main pharmacist was rude to her and refused to issue her medication. My daughter asked how come other pharmacies issue the medication 5-7 days before the time when reasons are explained, by which she conveyed, She was the main pharmacist and she will make her own rules and refused to issue the medication. My daughter only had transport for that day and also have a baby to carry along, thus the reason why she made transport arrangements on a suitable day for both parties involved for transport. This was a very unpleasant experience to my daughter, as well as other customers who were waiting in line and heard the conversation. This is definitely not a pleasant dischem pharmacy to visit since other people in the row also conveyed that they had similar experiences. It would be good for the company to to address this issue with the main pharmacist at Dischem Fleurdal Bloemfontein, also to make shopping there a nicer and more relaxed experience, instead of adding more stress on customers who also have to get their medication from there. Shopping at dischem has always been a pleasure, but the pharmacists, especially the main pharmacist who conveyed that she will make her own rules since she is in control there, appeared to be constantly unfriendly, rude and approach one with an attack attitude instead of a helpful and understanding one. One gets the idea that she just wants to get her job done at the end of the day to get paid monthend. Severeal customers waiting there said they experienced the same problems. We all suffer in some way. Why make it more unhappier, unpleasant and inconvenient? If you're not happy where you work or what you do, nothing or no one is stopping you from leaving and/or getting another job. It's that simple.
