Dischem FAIL: Claim taken from WRONG Medical Aid

K here's the deal: My dad and I each have a medical aid with Discovery. BOTH our medical aids are loaded on the same system at Dischem Northgate. My mom is on my dad's medical aid. So can you believe my shock and horror when a claim of R3,173.19 was taken off MY MSA FOR MY MOM's chronic meds?! The Dischem employee Obviously selected the wrong medical aid on the system.<br> <br> Discovery is however now turning around and making it MY PROBLEM! I was told that I'm the one that now has to go to Dischem to sort the mess out! Don't you guys check claims before approving them? Can you not read a script to see that you have the wrong member selected? If you did, you'd see there is NO WAY a MALE would need some of the meds that you happened to approve off his MSA. Or does the complacency run that deep at DisChem?<br> <br> I don't care how you do it, but between Discovery and Dischem YOU WILL FIX this WITHOUT me running around, or you'll find yourself shy of a client SO FAST it'll make your head spin!<br> <br> I've never heard of such bad service.
