Dischem Carlswald is Careless...

I visited Dis-Chem Carlswald dispensary on 12 August 2026 in the afternoon.

I was served at teller 5 by a staff member who was busy making jokes with her colleagues while attending to me. I found this behavior unprofessional. After preparing my medication, she called the responsible pharmacist for authorization. The pharmacist was polite and signed off, but neither of them verified that all my medication was present. The staff member then explained how to take the medication, which I accepted, and I left.

To my surprise, when I got home ready to take my medication (alternative or generic to Exinef), I discovered that one carton was empty. It was supposed to contain a blister pack of 7 tablets, but instead only had a PI leaflet inside.

I immediately drove back to the dispensary to report the issue. The same staff member did not address me and simply walked away when informed by her colleague, stating that she had not checked and that the responsible pharmacist also had not checked. Another colleague went to the back and returned with the missing blister pack, handed it to me without any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, especially considering I was unwell.

I felt disrespected and disappointed by the lack of professionalism, accountability, and courtesy shown by the staff. This experience has left me with serious concerns about the quality of service and patient care at this branch.

I request that this matter be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to ensure such incidents do not recur.
