Disappointed with Dis-Chem
Dis-chem is one of the very few companies who has shown little to no compassion towards their customers during the pandemic. I recently earned a voucher for a free pack of pampers after having bought 10 packs previously and spending thousands at Dis-chem on a monthly basis for over 10 years now. This isn't the 1st time I've earned this voucher due to working from home, I am no longer close enough to get a store and was unable to use my voucher on time. I called through on the weekend and explained the situation and the fact that i don't have transport in the day. By the time my mum gets home, the stores are closed. The lady who took the call at Dis-chem Raslouw, Ashley was really sweet and helpful as she always is but the response i got after she escalated the matter was that I cannot use the voucher even though it only expired 4 days ago. I did buy the 10 packs of pampers, what is the big deal about extending the validity for a loyal customer, the government can do it for a drivers licence but Dis-chem cannot do it for a nappy voucher. Perhaps Clicks will value me more as a customer going forward and understand the constraints that COVID has placed on the entire nation. Instead of making life difficult, you should be more accommodating and understanding considering you are a health and well-being retail store.
