Disappointed

Very disappointed with Dis-Chem. I purchased a toddler car seat from the Mall of the South store about three months ago, and honestly, it has turned out to be one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made.

The seat offers virtually no support for my daughter. If she falls asleep while we’re driving, her head falls forward or to the side, and we have to remove her from the car seat and support her ourselves. That is incredibly concerning when the whole purpose of a toddler car seat is to provide proper support and safety.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the car seat was specifically recommended to me by a staff member. As a parent, I trusted that recommendation because I assumed the staff member had the necessary product knowledge to advise me on something as important as a child’s car seat.

Three months later, I’m extremely disappointed with the product and with the advice I received. It really highlights a concerning gap in product knowledge. When it comes to products relating to children’s safety, customers should be receiving accurate and informed guidance—not recommendations that leave parents questioning whether the product is even suitable for their child.

I genuinely expected better from Dis-Chem.
