Dis Chem's pharmacies are not made equal.

Upon travelling across the country, I realised two things: DC does not stock all of their larger stores the same, and they price their medications differently across the country.

On a trip, I ended up paying almost twice the regular price of my medication just because different branches/stores are allowed to come up with their own prices... that is a bit messed up.

Additionally, they do not stock their shops in KZN or even towards Gauteng the same as they would theirs in the western cape. The variety in the western cape is SO much better than any other place that I have seen, and that is frustrating. From just having more and better health foods to a wider variety in snacks, their western cape branches beat ours by a long shot, and that is saddening.
