Dis-Chem would rather let people die than accept that their driver's are ***********

I'm incredibly disappointed with the level of service I've had with the Strubensvalley branch. I requested chronic medication for my elderly mother to be delivered on 2023/06/20, and the driver apparently waited a few seconds before leaving since in the one minute it took me to get outside, he'd already left. The same thing happened twice today (2023/06/21). I then called at 5PM to find out why, and was left on the line for almost 5 minutes before I mentioned that I'm going to record the call that I've been holding on for so long with no response and it put it onto social media. Somehow magically the manager answered a few seconds later. (Name not provided by the way)

I explained the situation, and the driver called and then the dispensary called, things I'm not disputing. My problem is that unless I can teleport to the driver, he leaves before I get to the gate. The manager then imp**** that I'm lying about getting the phone calls, and proceeded to speak over me every time I tried speaking. I eventually told them to cancel the order and proceeded to order with Dischem Clearwater.

This is by far the worst service I've experienced from this branch, and I've had my issues with them which I normally just let slide because it's a busy branch, but the level of disrespect was unacceptable. No one wanted to take accountability and my main problem is that now my mother, who has no car, cannot travel on her own, is now without medication going onto the third day.

If anything happens to my mother's health in this period that I have not received the medication, I will be holding this branch responsible.

This store needs better employees and more competent drivers. Please ensure that you trace who worked today at the dispensary, as the first man I spoke to was also not helpful, and wanted to pass the buck to the manager.
