Dis-chem staff does not care how they treat customers: screaming insults is at the order of the day!

I recently had a flight out of OR Tambo International Airport. Since i was flying to a high Malaria area and forgot my peaceful sleep I went to the Dis-chem at the departures area of the airport. I asked the lady behind the counter for the Peaceful sleep and she pointed it out. I asked if I can use some of it on my feet and legs since I am flying in less than an hour and i land in a high Malaria area. She said YES since after paying the items will be sealed in a bag for safety reasons as is done with all purchases at the airport. I put some of the peaceful sleep on and suddenly another worked in the Dis-chem attached me and screamed I have no manners and no resect. I stated I am using the peaceful sleep sine it will be sealed and I showed the bag. She continued to screamed and stated I am bothering other clients. I asked where they were since looking around there was no-one. This should be evident from CCTV footage. I also indicated that I was standing under the air-conditioning and that the smell of peaceful sleep is not a harsh smell and the air-conditioning is even reducing it more. I tried to talk to her and explain. She continued to belittle me and stated that "people like me (me being a white person I assume) always think they are right and can do what they want. She was walking up and down the shop screaming and stating insults as I left. The behind the counter that assister me apologized for what happened to me. I contacted Dis-chem and submitted a complaint. [ Ticket: *** ] Contact Us - Complaint (Dis-Chem Online). They responded by stating they don't a Dis-chem at the OT Tambo Airport. I find this response extremely poor and a simple attempt to dismiss my compliant and not take responsibility. How is it possible that you don't even know the branches of your own shop? It is easy to determine if you simply search Dis-chem at the OR Tambo airport.

Perhaps the most simple explanation is that Dis-chem simply does not care how they treat people and customers that support them! But don't worry supporting Dis-chem is something that I will not do again.

I am very willing to acknowledge my own mistakes but since all products needed to be sealed I had very little options but to ask if I can use the product. The point being I did ask! Also take into consideration that people can die from Malaria - it is not a joke to get Malaria.
