DIS-CHEM RIP-OFF

Once again I have been at the receiving end of Dis-Chem's greed! Despite being a long-time customer I was once again "caught out" when my wife and I had flu injections last Tuesday. We were told it cost R126.73 per jab through medical aid. Much to my surprise when I checked my Discovery savings statement I discovered that Dis-Chem had charged an additional fee of R70 for each of us bringing the total to R197.03 each!!! I checked with other pharmacies in our area and they charge a flat rate or R130 per injection. NO HIDDEN CHARGES!!!!!! I have also become aware that Dis-Chem have been hiking prices at an alarming rate -- not only in the stores but also on chronic meds. I spend thousands at Dis-Chem every month but maybe it is time to shop around. DISGUSTED!!!!
