On the Shelves there was a sign saying “Any cleanlogic products 20% off * , discount to be app**** at the tills ) I should be getting 20% of the price seen on the shelves. Item A – R159 less 20% Item B – R119 less 20%

What should be the pricing Item Your shelve Price 20% of your shelve price Price I should pay Item A 159 31.8 127.2 Item B 119 23.8 95.2 When I got to the till the 20% discount was not app**** once queried , the cashier explains that these items are already 20% discounted. ( However no where in this amounts can you see a 20% discount ) It showed on your tills as Item A – R319.95 discount R160.95 , Price R159 ( As is displayed on the shelve ) Item B – R239.95 discount R120.95 , Price 119 ( As is displayed on the shelve ) Do the math the above is not 20% discount and is more than 20% discount.

The cashier calls the training Manager Khethuku , pleasant guy well mannered no attitude helps with a smile and can understand. He tries to assist and comes back to tell us the lady informed him the 20% discount is only for items with have a “*” next to the price ( he got this information from the stock controller ) , okay great I then show him the items that I purchased pricing does have the “*” so I should be getting a 20% discount on my items at the till now this is where it changes now the lady says the items are already discounted , I asked him to call the person he spoke to as this is time wasting. Charlene(Stock Controller) arrives 1-No manners , don’t greet don’t introduce herself 2-Not pleasant , no smile looks like she is more angry or having a bad day 3-No level of understanding , cant understand what my point is 4-No communication skills 5- Cant do basic math , it’s a joke , ask her what 20% of R319 is its R160.95 according to her ( because the till is showing 160.95 less that is 20%) I asked her what 20% of R300 is as it’s a round figure she can’t answer its R60. How do you give someone a stock controller job who can’t do simple math. 5- When speaking to her she walks away without telling you to excuse her 6- The look she gives you is like she is doing you a favor or giving you the items for free. 7- Last she laughs at me as i turn my back to exit the store, this is really unacceptable. When helping a client you all angry, you don’t smile yet once the client turns you find it in you to laugh at the client and smile? Is this the standard of customer service Dischem set? Is this the values Dischem promotes? Is this the leaders Dischem chooses to lead others?

It’s a dam joke , I want to be contacted not by the store manager.
