Dis-Chem online service fails to deliver.

We recently ordered various essential toiletries from the Dis-Chem online service, with them using a service that is called Pargo to deliver the package to the local Lewis Store here in Stutterheim. We have once before received a package through this service and it worked OK. I will not complain about the Lewis Store staff, since this is indeed a Dis-Chem service, so they must manage their suppliers.

Now on Saturday 3 September my wife got a WhatsApp the package is ready for collection. I go there first time having to wait for about 15 min for the only staffer of 7 working at the counter, finishing with a person paying an account. It being a furniture store fast service does not seem to be a priority.

When I eventually got served the lady told me they have not received the packet. I subsequently logged a on Tuesday I sent my son who were informed they can't help, since they have no power due to load shedding.

Yesterday, I logged a complaint with Dis-Chem, but only got an acknowledgment they will look into it with ParGo .

Today I send my son again to the pickup point, with them informing them they still did not receive the consignment. I then had to send him to go purchase some of the items at Pick and Pay that we ordered from Dis-Chem.
