The security guard gave me a droplet of sanitizer, that could hardly even rub the palm of my hand. She said it was enough. I had to explain, that this is not how you sanitize for a virus, that the full hand has to be sanitized.

Dis-chem, you are going to get us infected. We are sitting on 402 infections in this country, which probably means 4000 in real terms. We cannot be playing about virus prevention. Luckily, I have sanitizers in my car, but wanted to sanitize so that I use mine to sanitize plastics and the items I bought.

Ppl need to apply lots of common sense in this time, and I feel your security, apparently under instruction from her manager, is told to give ppl droplets out of sanitizer. I would rather you don't, because ppl will still be infected with that amount.

Ppl really need to think. When you are told to wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds, it's because the virus doesn't come off quickly. Imagine what a farce it is, to get a droplet of sanitizer on one hand, and thinking you have done the job. It's insulting. Rather don't do it. Don't insult your customers.
