Dis-chem Health underwritten by Kaelo !!! Fault advertising, False pretenses and *****ing funds for no assistance.

Wow, were do i start. I would never suggest Dis-chem Health to anyone. Quick to take your premiums every month but not quick to help in an emergency. Firstly, when they call or you call they sell you this insurance and accident cover under the pretense that you are covered for strokes and heart attacks and so on. They do not mention that you are ONLY covered if the stroke or heart attach is caused by an ACCIDENT!!! How on earth are you to know if you having a stroke that is was caused by an accident. They advised that if the doctor at the hospital was to teLl them that the patient has bruising, scars or cuts then they will cover. I have both telephone conversations recorded on how both parties under Dis-chem health and Kaelo sell you there product differently. So at the end of the day they sell their product under false pretenses, make it sound WONDERFUL, you can even check there broucher for 2023 and not anywhere in there does it stipulate that you will only be covered if the stroke was caused by an accident. (Refer to page 11/12 "Casually and in-hospital cover for heart attacks and strokes" - In-Hospital cover for medical Emergencies due to heart attack or stroke, i can address all lines but go read it) and then when you need it the most, they go and state you are not covered. Wont even ask questions to try and assist the patient and there family. Believe me when i say this was from experience. If you have a heart attach the doctors have to prove to them that you had an accident that caused you to have a heart attach. Back to an experience, when you are lying in hospital after under going a CT scan to prove you had a stroke and you have bleeding on the brain caused by that stroke, you will not be covered unless you have a bruise or scar to prove it was from an accident. Hell, even the hospitals are confused by this notation which i find appalling and absolutely pathetic. I will be taking this case to the Council for medical schemes and further if i have to. As people have lost money over this stupid and ********* way that Dis-chem Health and Kaelo operates. False advertising, false pretenses and *****ing money. There broucher contradict everything I got from two recording as i have stipulated.
