Dis-Chem exorbitant price increase

I am very disappointed with Dis-Chem. A few months ago, Dis-Chem increased the price of an item that my medical aid pays for as a chronic item for my Diabetes. The price increased by R95,00 – 23% more than the medical aid rate of R331.88. I declined to take it and spoke with Bankmed my medical Aid. They took it up with Dis-Chem and they resolved the issue (so it seemed). The medical aid said I would not have to pay any co-payment. 1st month - I did not pay extra (Dis-chem at The Glen) 2nd month – Dis-chem wanted a R13 co-payment but waived it after I reminded them that Bankmed said there would be nothing extra - (Dis-chem at The Glen) 3rd month - Dis-chem at Mall of the South (31st May) insisted on a R13 co-payment – I declined and said I would speak to Bankmed again. 3rd month again – Before speaking to Bankmed I went to Dis-chem at The Glen. They now said I had to pay R95 as a co-payment. I declined to pay and am now going back to Bankmed for clarity. It seems Dis-Chem is now a profit making machine rather the discounting pharmacy it started out as.
