Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Medication Collection Issue

Dear Dis-Chem

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding the transfer and collection of my medication.

On 28 October 2024, I requested for my medication to be moved from the Century City branch to the N1 City branch for collection. Following this request, I made an additional effort to call and confirm that the medication would be delivered to the correct store. Despite these proactive steps, I received an SMS today indicating that my medication was still at Century City.

I immediately called again to request the transfer to N1 City and, as expected, went to collect it after work. However, I was met with shocking nonchalance and a complete lack of willingness to provide alternatives. It was only after persistent questioning on my part that staff at N1 City attempted to contact the Century City branch. To my dismay, I was told to personally drive to Century City to collect the medication.

This is unacceptable. I am now leaving N1 City without my medication, which is critical for my health, and I am left with no feasible solution from your team. Even the response from your Instagram team, stating that they will “investigate,” demonstrates a lack of urgency and care, despite my clear explanation of the situation.

Your handling of this issue has shown me that Dis-Chem does not prioritize its customers’ well-being or time. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and professionalism from a company of your stature.

I am requesting an immediate resolution to this matter, including: 1. Ensuring my medication is made available for collection at N1 City without further delay. 2. A formal apology for the inconvenience and stress caused. 3. A review of your processes to ensure such lapses do not occur in the future.

I look forward to your prompt response. Should this matter not be resolved swiftly, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint further.
