Dis-Chem disappoints for the last time.

The Table View branch of Dic-Chem has, in my experience, a poor service delivery record but I sucked it up in the past. Today was the worst, however. The two chemists working in the dispensary were totally oblivious to the three customers standing in the queue, waiting to be called. The two women were talking and looking at something on a computer and they made absolutely no attempt to make eye or verbal contact with the waiting customers, one of which was in extreme discomfort and pain. It takes no effort at all to make eye contact or to, at the very least, acknowledge the presence of the waiting clients and simply indicate that they have been recognized. But no, not these two so-called professionals who believed that their own agendas were of far greater importance than the customers who ultimately pay their salaries. Eventually, two customers could not take it any longer and both stormed out (I was accompanying one of them). Guess where both ended up? Walking into the Clicks just down the passage. I won't even try to go back to Dis-Chem. They don't have anything that their competitors do not have and it is ultimately good service delivery that attracts customers.
