Dis-Chem clinic nurse refusing to honor my appointment

Knowing that health workers are under severe pressure, I spent 15 minutes on the phone making an appointment for my wife to do her Discovery tests. I got an appointment for 13:00-13:30 on the 24th of December. My wife was working and had to run out to do this. We were at the clinic door at 13:03. At that point, someone was inside. The gentleman came out at 13:11. By her own admission, she checked who was outside at 12:45, gave a walk-in gentleman forms to fill in and did not come out until 13:11. The nurse then helped the walk-in patient and told us that we had essentially lost our appointment. The second patient finished at around 13:24 after which they took lunch to 14:30 refusing to see us. The nurse and her assistant were very rude and **** about having to go do COVID tests. They were in the office for the full duration. I would have needed to arrive by 12:45 to keep my appointment. On no correspondence did they mention that you need to be early at all. This totally blows my mind and I find it unacceptable.

All of it should also be on CCTV, which Dis-Chem declined to show me. I waited for a manager or someone in charge for quite a while. This person told me that they spoke to the nurse and that she would help us. This person then vanished and I could not get hold of her again. Unbelievable.
