Dis-chem 7 day rule

this is a complaint about the two ladies who assisted me yesterday 06-01-2024 at mall of the south , who work at customer service , the department where you return goods , its at the front of the store .I returned a product of which i was not happy with its work , it is not doing what the product is meant to do because of its heat capacity and i requested a refund , i was told that the is a 7 days rule to return products if you are not happy with the them. the light in complexion lady who is currently pregnant advised me of that and other lady who works there backed her up.

that rule is not at the back of the dis-chem slip , i just looked at the dis-chem return policy it is not there as well .

Dis-chem why is the 7 day rule not there while your employees are advising clients about it ? was it a way to chase me away and not assist me ?

i advised i read about the 30 days return policy and it is at that time that they decided to take the product but insisted on me not getting my refund merely on the fact that i did not return it within 7 days ..

further more the pregnant lady said , i will put it in her direct words....ohh so this product was working and you were using it this whole time and you decide to return it NOW.... please dis-chem intervene what does that statement mean ? for returning the products within the time frame stated by dischem i go trough all of the above ... i was literally bul**** by your employees for doing the right thing at the right time .

i honestly feel attacked for returning a product , was i not allowed to return it , do you train your employees to treat customers like this ?
