Dis Chem

I wish there were more than 5 stars! After phoning different branches in my area, and with NO luck, I finally managed to aquire what I needed from Dis Chem Westgate! First Mr. Lucky, the assistant manager at Dis Chem in Princess crossing, and his team put me on hold numerous times and even dropped the line twice while I was enquiring about an item called Iodine. I had to recharge and phone back, which actually cost me additional funds. Then I had to listen to the conversation he had with staff in their language, not knowing what was said on the other side. This is important as in the beginning of the call I asked if I could speak afrikaans and I was told to speak English. Fine. But when it was time for the staff to speak they ignored me and spoke in a language I could not understand. Needless to say my experience with Dis Chem Princess crossing was fruitless and they will not have my business again. My customer service rating for them is a zero. For wasting my time, my money AND being disrespectful to a customer who spent a couple hundred rand there already. Yes I still bought from them but that would be my last time.

Dis Chem Westgate deserves more than 5 starts though! I phoned them and the manager took my number, phoned back not 10 mins later and organized to deliver the item I was looking for without me having to worry about a thing! This is Beyond customer service and I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping us in time of need. My mother is 61yo and have been struggling with a wound for two years. I could not find Iodene anywhere else and Dis Chem Westgate had one bottle left which they kept for me.
