Despicable treatment at Dis-Chem Loch Logan Waterfront

I went to collect my chronic medication from Dis-Chem Loch Logan Waterfront in Bloemfontein and was helped by Riana van Heerden. She asked for my surname and I tried to spell it to her when she did not understand what I was saying. I began spelling it, but again she did not understand, I believe because she is Afrikaans and my surname is Zulu. I then used the the NATO phonetic alphabet to assist her. She SCREAMED at me saying: “Just spell it the normal way!”. I had tried to spell it “the normal way” as she put it but there was a communication barrier so I attempted a different way to communicate. I then said to her, “Are you aware that you’re being rude to me?” To which her response was a deep and loud sigh while rolling her eyes at me saying “Agh!”. Then I said, “You’re being rude right now, why are you rolling your eyes at me?” Then she said “I’m not being rude! I don’t know what you’re saying.” And she walked away to fetch my medication.

I have been warned about incidents of ****** and poor customer service from the dispensary in Dis-Chem Loch Logan Waterfront and I can confirm for myself that this store is absolutely terrible! I am so disappointed that I elected this store as my designated pharmacy with my medical aid. The pharmacists and their assistants need to learn how to treat customers with some semblance of decency.
