Could service get any worse
<p>I use Dischem for my prescription medicine which is chronic. When ordering my meds, at times I have been given the incorrect medication or incorrect dose. Other times the meds do not match the daily amount, for example instead of 60 pills 2 x twice a day I am only given 30. I order the day before collection as they are so busy. On collecting the medication, it is always either incorrect or not dispenced. As I have chronic meds I have to give the original script, which I do but often it is overlooked and they will not dispence as it has suddenly vanished and obviously never loaded. We now order through headoffice, in the hopes it is dispenced with the correct amount, so they phone once a month 4 days before it is due to confirm meds. Sadly that is also not working as when we collected it, once again, had not been done. I have the Managers info but he is never available. We now have to check the names of the medication and count to see if it is the correct amount. My Specialist Physicion recomended Dischem but it has come to the stage I have to change chemists., as this has become a huge problem. In the beginning I used to deal with a lady who constantly got it wrong, so much I could have ended up in hospital. After complaining to the Manager of the store, I was told only to deal with the head of Dispencery. It worked once or twice but thats it,he is always busy and takes more than 4 days to return my calls. When headoffice said they would organise my repeats but 4 days before they were due, I thought great, this will work. Sadly again either incorrect meds or incorrrect dosage, which I cannot stress how dangerous this is with my medicine. I have to say it worked once or twice. This last week was just too much. Everything was ordered by headoffice, we went to collect AND Suprise suprise, it had not been done at all. It is a very busy place Nicholway and the ques are very long. My back is bad so to stand in ques is difficult so my hubby collects for me. He has to check the meds, count the pills BEFORE leaving, the last occasion was just before they were going to close. So it was hugly frustrating. Not only do they forget to capture when they have the original script, I have to phone and phone getting another person to check through all the scripts and amend it. Keep in mind I am not a qualified pharmacist.</p> <p>What do you do, this is now beyond a joke</p>
