Concern Regarding Customer Service at Dis-chem Eastgate

Hello Peter,

I would like to raise a concern regarding my experience today at Dischem Eastgate branch. The cashier who assisted me, Mphile Mthethwa, spoke to me in a manner that I found unprofessional and discourteous.

As a customer, when I ask questions about products or pricing, it is purely for clarity and understanding... not to be demanding or difficult. Unfortunately, the tone used in response to my question felt rude and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable.

In addition, after completing my purchase, there was no acknowledgment or simple “thank you,” which I believe is a basic professional courtesy when serving members of the public.

I respectfully request that this matter be addressed, as customers should feel welcomed and treated with patience and respect at all times. Professional communication is essential in customer service, and I trust that appropriate guidance will be provided to ensure a more positive experience for future customers.
