Complaint
We went to Dis-chem Olympus Pretoria on Sunday morning 11th December 2022. We purchased natural choice salts and spices. The special was buy two and get 3rd one free. We got to the cashier Katlego Masemola. She was chewing bubble gum didn't greet as at all was busy speaking to the cashier on the opposite side of her. When our goods were rung up my husband still said that could not be there is something wrong. She was again chatting to her cashier on the opposite of her. I had to ask her are we finish please give us our slip. We walked out and outside the shop we checked the slip and realized she charged us totally wrong. We went back into the store and went to another cashier by the name Rosina Mahlangu and explained to her what happened she then called Katlego several times only after the third time she came by that time I already asked them to please call the store Manager. They called Anton the store manager which took quite some time for him to arrive at the counter I tried to explain to him what happened he then immediately told Rosina to sort us out. The next minute when i still looked for Anton the Manager he was gone. I though by myself is this how a branch manager must operate. My perception of a store manager is he has to sort the problem and see that the customer leaves the store happy. Dis-chem head office should think of sending your store manager by the name of Anton for some training how to deal with customers that are unhappy and want their problem to be sorted. I call him a pathetic store manager and I believe he doesn't do Dis-chem image any good. I would like a reply from Dis-chem to make sure we don't ever get to this situation again.
