Company policy is making customers leave

I normally shop at Dis-chem for many of my needs and I am quite happy with the service I get, but I just do not get their company policy when it comes to shopping with a group of people. This incident happened to me twice at the same store.The first time I was on a budget to buy cosmetics and was writing down the names and prices so I could manage my budget. I was accosted by a little rude consultant telling me that they would call the manager if I continued so I left very confused about the situation.<br> Recently I took 17 students on a shopping spree at the same store ( I lecture hair and make up). While I was busy showing them which products to buy, one of the consultants approached me asking if we needed help.As I knew what I was looking for, I told her that we were doing okay. She looked very suspicious at me and told me that if we were there for other reasons, we should ask permission first as it is not allowed in their store.( my own words) I told the consultant that I was their tutor and we were busy buying products.<br> I do understand certain company policies but this one is ridiculous! I brought people into the store to spend money, nothing else. I am disappointing!
