CHILD INJECTIONS
I am very disappointed with Dis-Chem , I phoned Cradle Stone Clinic to confirm whether they have government stock for the two injections my baby had to get c/pox2 and meningitis2 They confirmed that they do have stock and that it would only be R120 for consultation fee. So I canceled the booking I had with the clinic I usually go to because Cradlestone dischem told me they do have the stock. Only to find out when I get there that no government stock is given , only from 18 months which I find very strange because I have a lot of friends that told me about dischem Cradlestone that always have government stock and they have kids younger than 18 months.
My child was also supposed to get 2 injections but the nurse told me she is only due for 1. But the other clinic said she is due for 2. I am not sure who is right and who is wrong because both clinic have qualified nurses, well atleast I hope so!
My issue here is phoning and get told government stock but as soon as I get there they tell me they don't give government stock and this is very pathetic and false information from Dischem. I went to Cradlestone for the simple reason that I didn't have money for the injections and all of a sudden I had to make a plan to get hold of money so that my child can get her injection. I will take this up with the ombudsman of consumer rights!!!
