Cashier's terrible attitude!

I visited the Dis-Chem store at the Green Valley Shopping Centre this afternoon. From a total of around 6 cashiers, only 1 of them was helping a customer. The rest of them just had their heads down, busy with their calculators and counting the cash in their tills. When the customer had finished off, I went to the 1 cashier that was working. To my surprise, she also then pulled out her calculator and started counting her money with her head down, oblivious to the fact that I was standing in front of her, waiting to be helped. I had to ask is anyone going to help me?

They all then started looking at each other, trying to figure out amongst themselves, who was going to help. Eventually, a rude lady, J Matlala (till number 0005), told me to come through to her. She didn't even greet because she was vividly upset at the fact that she had to be the one to help me. She didn't even ask if I wanted a packet. To add to her terrible attitude, once done, she just threw the receipt onto the counter and turned her head.

Dis-Chem, please let J Matlala know that she chose her job. If she is unhappy, she should find another job because good customer service is clearly not one of her strengths.

You should also make it CLEAR to your cashiers that are working the last shift, that whilst the store doors are OPEN, they should not be cashing up, trying to leave early, whilst there are customers standing in a queue waiting to be served!
