Bad service

I went to dischem woodlands on sudden and bought humidifier on the 15/03/2020. I have the humidifier and all of the sudden water was splitting, the brand is elketra. I went to the store and the store manager insisting that it felt he have to call the company and I have to the box with , I was told to take the new but he insisted that I return and come back tomorrow.its like I am lying
