Bad Service

3 Months ago I handed in a Doctor’s prescription for chronic medication at Dis-Chem.

Today the 5th of July I went to collect my medication for the 3rd time, but they did not have the full prescription on hand and this is now the second time this happened. I explained to the pharmacist at the counter that I have to travel 120KM around trip to collect my medication and I think that they must arrange for the medicine that is not on hand to be delivered to me.

She then called her manager a Mrs Jackie Claase, I then explained to her the situation and that this is now the second time that this happened; she then told me that it is not their fault and that it is the suppliers fault. I then told her as well that I think that she must organise that my medication is delivered to me.

I then asked her how is it possible that they have already put the claim through to the medical scheme on the 4th of July without me collecting the medication. She then started to raise her voice to me and I did likewise and I said to her that I am a client and she must not raise her voice to me.

I then demanded that she must make a plan to deliver my medication to me and she rep**** that she can’t send her driver on a motor bike to make the delivery as it is too far and she told me that I am not reasonable. The manager then left and the pharmacist at the counter help me very friendly and polite the correct way a customer should be helped

Surely there system must show that I am due to collect my medication and it must be in stock at that Dis-Chem pharmacy where I handed in my prescription. The worst of it all is that my wife phoned them on Wednesday the 29th of June to ask if we could pick up the medication and they said no we can only pick it up on the 4th or the 5th of July.
