Bad and negligent service

Good day

On Saturday(11/08/2018) I went to Dischem in Centurion Mall, I had a new prescription for my chronic medication, I was assisted by Pharmacist Assistant named N. Du Plessis who said I can only receive one of my meds and my medical aid doesn't pay for my vitamins and I specifically told her it does I am under the chronic option and she said her screen showed I need to be registered, I told her I was registered under chronic for four years and said she can give me the one medication, I left the counter and realised that the slip was showing the claim was made under acute medication, I went back to her and told her the claim was supposed to be under chronic, she instead brushed me off and said I needed to contact my medical aid on Monday (even wrote the no. as if don't have their contacts, her attitude was just bad as if I was annoying her) (during all the time she was busy chatting to her colleague, to me she was not 100 %focused), I left the pharmacy thinking it was an error from my Doctor or Medical aid.

At night when I was about to take my medication I saw the sticker on the bottle had my husband name instead of my, the claim was made under the wrong name and fund hence I couldn't get all my meds. What irritates me is that I made the assistant aware that something was wrong about the claim cause I never had any issues in the past, but she insisted it was my medical aid. Such negligence I cannot accept especially when she was notified that something was amiss, the prescription had the correct name and on Sunday the 12th had to go back to the pharmacy a waste of my time and petrol to rectify this claim from the negligence and bad service I received from Ms N. Du Plessis. I requested to see the manager but was not in, then Pharmacist rectified the claim. Informed Ms Du Plessis of her mistake and her apology was not sencere with her smug smile for her it was a minor mistake that on my side could have had financial and health consequences cause the prescription was for 6 months under normal medical savings instead of chronic. I would like to the Dispensery Manager to address this matter.

Regards Unhappy customer
