APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE - DIS-CHEM WAVERLEY PLAZA 24/09/04

Went to buy floss at Dis-Chem Waverley Plaza. The bar code was incorrect. Came to checkout and item was R30+ more expensive. Went to assistant on floor at department and asked for bar code so that I can pay and leave. Assistant got into a conversation with another employee about bar code. Blamed poor "Page" that was not there for stacking the rack and apparently making a mistake. "Page" was on her tea break. I stood there like an idiot, the assistant did not communicate with me, did not even bother to make eye contact or gave me the correct price. It is up to Dis-Chem to price their items correctly. What a disappointment! It was COMPLETELY AND UTTELRLY embarrassing. Dis-Chem...please give your assistants training as to how to treat a customer, I only asked for a bar code. I hope to NEVER deal with Dis-Chem again.

I have to say, the poor teller tried his best to diffuse the situation. 10/10 for him! Such a shame some employees are such a disgrace!

Lady with the read hair, I did not catch your name but I am sure you know who I am talking about. Don't blame shift, just find a solution....not rocket science you know! Customers exists and they are standing right beside you when you are throwing your hissy fit! You did not even BOTHER to answer me. You do not belong on a floor to serve customers!
