I would like to express my utter satisfaction at the outstanding service I've received from Denzil at the dispensary at the Paarl Mall branch! I popped in on my way to the office, after visiting a client in another town. It was a quick in and out, hence I didn't pay any attention to my receipts. After an hour or less, while back at my desk, my phone rang and, not recognizing the number, I was kind of reluctant to answer. The voice on the other side asked to speak to me, calling me by my surname. He introduced himself as Denzil at Dischem- I was obviously cautious, since the call came rather randomly. I confirmed I'm the person in question, after which Denzil said that he noticed on the receipt I've been overcharged by mistake. Would I be able to come back if I were still in the area...then I remembered the amount did look a bit much for the few items purchased. 😂 I was pleasantly surprised by how efficiently and promptly the mistake was noticed. I thanked him for making me aware, however, I'd only be able to return after work. I went and met Denzil in person, obviously very happy to be given back the correct change 🤞🏼🤭. I mean, how often does this happen? To Denzil: Sir, you're such an asset and delight, I sincerely thank you for making the effort, which was really a first for me! Such excellent customer service indeed.
