Policy Cancellation Ignored – Unauthorised Debit

I cancelled my Dis-Chem Medical Insurance policy and spoke with two consultants who confirmed the cancellation. However, I never received any written confirmation or cancellation email. Despite this, Dis-Chem still debited my account for a policy I had already cancelled. When I contacted my bank, they advised that they cannot assist and that I should resolve the matter directly with Dis-Chem. This is unacceptable – proper communication and confirmation should have been provided, and debiting my account after cancellation is both unprofessional and unfair. I expect immediate reversal of the debit and written confirmation that my policy is cancelled.
