Extremely Poor Service from Dis-Chem Pharmacies Medical Insurance Division

I am extremely disappointed with the shocking level of service I’ve received from Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ medical insurance division.

Despite following all the correct procedures, my experience has been filled with errors, unprofessional behavior, and zero accountability.

Here’s what happened:

A policy that was not active was still debited from my account.

The agents I dealt with were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional on multiple calls. They don't have a manager or supervisor on site that you can speak to. i was put on hold for 30 mins and the call was dropped on me.

I requested the cancellation of the policy via email, but no action was taken.

When I called again, I was told the policy was never cancelled in February, even though I had made the request.

I’ve since received calls from three different agents, none of whom managed to handle the matter correctly or follow proper procedures.

This entire situation is unacceptable.

I expect:

Immediate written confirmation that my policy has been cancelled

Immediate reversal of the incorrect debit order

A full explanation of how this mistake occurred

If this is not resolved urgently, I will escalate the matter further and continue to share my experience publicly so that others are aware of the poor service and lack of accountability.
