Excuses To Reject Claims

I went for an eye test at the optometrist on the company's network of providers and have a valid script sent directly from the optician detailing the need for glasses. After selecting the frames and sending everything off, I get an email stating that my script does not match the criteria for them to cover it. Bear in mind, I have signed policy documents that in no way provide any of this "criteria". I have paid my policy every month, and the one time I need to use a benefit, this happens. After paying over R6000 in premiums, getting push back on a claim of R1000 tells me all I need to know.

You are better served saving your money and spending out of pocket, or trying another company, but Dischem is not it. Stay away!
