DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON DISCHEM MEDICAL INSURANCE !!!

Pay your debit order on time to ensure bad service, bad support, bad communication and NO payment on claims submitted.

My husband went to the dentist; but dental cover is not actually covered. Certain treatment was not pre-authorised and the rest is not covered on the insurance - any reason not to pay.

I had an accident last year. My husband phoned for pre-authorisation on the way to the hospital. The lady was helpful and insured that on arrival at ER the hospital was informed and authorisation code provided. She also informed my husband that ER cover is R20 000.

After very good treatment at the hospital I went home to recover. 2 Weeks later I had to settle all the upaid bills for ER/hospital, Drs., xrayl, medication etc.

I contacted them in January to terminate my medical insurance. I recieve an email today saying 2 debit orders were unsuccessful and my insurance is terminated. Yipee yay. Did they actually think I would allow another payment to go down the drain.
