DischemHealth is great.

I really like DischemHealth, it is a great service for little money compared to a what you pay for a medical aid. I had a problem with payments to my GP, the lab and X-ray company because they deemed my GP to not be contracted in. A contracted GP had to do the referrals. It was their mistake and took some emailing back and forth to get them to realise my GP was indeed contracted in! After paying my GP they did not pay the lab and X-Ray company and I had to email again for them to rectify that. It was a bit time consuming and frustrating - but they finally got it right. This is not just a problem with Dischem Health, I had a similar problem with my medical aid. I found the consultants to be helpful and friendly, even when I got angry! Other than that, I have been to a dentist, I see my GP regularly (unlimited GP visits), had blood tests and Ultrasounds. DischemHealth always sends claims notices etc so that you can keep a check on their payments. I am very happy with their service.
